Hi! I'm Hillary Midgley. When I was first hired to teach sixth grade, I knew nothing.  Nothing about the grade level. Nothing about the curriculum.  I had very few resources and very little guidance. Years later and new teachers still find themselves in the same situation.

My goal for Teach Like Midgley is to provide guidance to new sixth grade teachers who desperately need it. Here you will find straight forward, proven strategies and materials.  Nothing fancy, just resources that work for teachers and students.
